A new image leak from China shows what is claimed to be the front panel from the bigger iPhone 6, suggesting once again that Apple’s next iPhone will be the first to offer a significantly bigger display, a major departure from Apple’s iPhone design policy so far. Discovered on Chinese social network Weibo by iPhonote, the image seems to show a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 placed next to a 4-inch iPhone 5s.

According to the report, the iPhone 4s and iPhone 4 will be discontinued and the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will occupy Apple’s two lower-end price slots. In the U.S., that would make the iPhone 5c free on contract while the iPhone 5s would likely retail for $99 on contract.Kuo says that Apple’s new 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will launch late in the third quarter, and the iPhone phablet will launch late in the fourth quarter. His release timing aligns with a report from earlier this week.

Apple also provides a push-notification-based service to update cards, like gate numbers on boarding passes or balance info on Starbucks cards. Windows Phone can read and render the .pkpass bundle, but they probably can't hook into Apple's push system so, if updates are possible, there'd have to be some Microsoft-specific support from the supplier, or laborious polling process in place.

The gist of it is that Microsoft has reverse-engineered how to read Passbook files (.pkpass) and can turn them into cards that work with Micosoft Wallet, rendering them with the same data for Windows Phone users.
