In this episode of Going Coastal, Jon and Marissa connect with Jack Koban of Fugro on the latest pieces of legislation making their way through Congress and what to expect at the upcoming ASBPA Coastal Summit (March 21-23). Jack is a Senior Business Development Manager at the Baton Rouge office of Fugro, a Charter member of the Central Gulf Coast Chapter of ASBPA, and one of the Summit organizing committee members for this year’s event. Some hot topics expected at the Summit include the RISE and BREEZE Acts that support direct funding for offshore wind energy and proactive coastal resiliency projects, among others. Tune in to learn more and don’t be afraid to google an acronym or two.

Registration is still open for the Summit and associated agency visit events. Head to www.asbpa.org for more information.
