There is a real pandemic that is doing irreversible harm to a generation of youth, particularly young girls. Rates of self-harm are up 189% since 2010, meaning girls are hurting themselves at nearly triple the rate of only a few years ago. Their drug of choice is their identity. Abigail Shrier wrote a "controversial" article about a study showing that LGBT was a social contagion. Her new book, which details her interviews with hundreds of parents to get their perspective on the matter, makes the case with devastating detail.
