Ann Coulter Slams Trump’s Immigration Meeting: ‘Lowest Day in the Trump Presidency’

Ann Coulter appeared with Lou Dobbs tonight on FBN to elaborate on her frustrations with President Trump‘s immigration meeting.

Earlier today, she tweeted it was a “DACA lovefest,” and when Dobbs asked Coulter for her take, she said this:

“When Kevin McCarthy is the hardliner on immigration in the room, I think we can call this the lowest day in the Trump Presidency. I mean, he was clearly trying to overcome the bad press of this Michael Wolff book by showing he’s in command, but in fact what he did was fulfill every description of him in the Michael Wolff book. He doesn’t listen. He has no command of the facts. He agrees with the last person who speaks with him.”

Dobbs quickly broke in to say, “We don’t need to go through the whole damn book, it’s trash.”

“No, It isn’t!” Coulter quickly said. “He was doing exactly, literally, 30 seconds––Di Fi [Dianne Feinstein] says she wants a stand alone DREAMer bill, he agrees with that. Kevin McCarthy has to step in and say ‘Um, no, sir I think you need border security first,’ he agrees with that. He’s agreeing with people on a 60 second lag.”

After further discussion on the wall, DACA, and the Democrats, Coulter doubled down on her earlier statements. “This is a disaster. It was the lowest day of his presidency.”

Dobbs responded with, “I couldn’t agree with you more about the difficulty of the day, let me put it that way.”

Mark Levin: Trump's Immigration Statement "No Art Of The Deal, Complete Surrender"

On Date January 9, 2018

Mark Levin weighs in on President Trump's on-camera immigration discussion with Congressional leaders.

MARK LEVIN: Look, amnesty was Reagan's biggest mistake. Biggest mistake. It's time to speak out folks. It's time to speak out. Here's President Trump at the White House today.

TRUMP: And, Chuck, I will say, when this group comes back -- hopefully with an agreement -- this group and others from the Senate, from the House, comes back with an agreement, I'm signing it. I mean, I will be signing it. I'm not going to say, "Oh, gee, I want this or I want that." I'll be signing it, because I have a lot of confidence in the people in this room that they're going to come up with something really good.

LEVIN: That's no Art of the Deal, that's complete surrender. Now I suspect the president will realize that and try to talk some of that back, but that is very bad. And he did it in front of the media, he did it in front of the Democrats, the whole world heard it. Just give me something and I'll sign it. Are you kidding me? That's what he said. I didn't say it. That's what the president said.
