IATSE Local 140 Business Agent Erin Kellam was the first featured guest on today’s edition of the AWF Union Podcast. She discussed the impact COVID-19 is making on the overall theatre industry and locally in Chattanooga, Tenn. Kellam also spoke about a new contract with their biggest local employer, where they received a 24 percent raise, plus Sunday overtime and holiday pay.

The AWF Union Podcast Independent Labor Voice Tom Buffenbarger was also featured on the podcast today. He spoke about Boeing opening up more manufacturing plants and whether or not they will be unionized. Buffenbarger also discussed the outlook regarding organizing in 2022.
