Forty five years after his death, the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. remains at the forefront of the american consciousness. Today, communities throughout our great nation are faced with many of the same issues that were present during the Civil Rights Era of the 1960's. On this edition of our podcast, we begin a series of shows that will focus on the current status of Dr. King's Legacy and what has been achieved in the Tampa Bay area relative to race relations and the comparitive quality of life for all americans, regardless of race. Our special guest is Attorney Delano S. Stewart, a community activist and prominent voice in the Tampa Bay Area and the State of Florida for equal treatment under law and social equity. With the premiere of the major motion picture "Selma," attention to the civil rights movement and Dr. King are being revived and revisited. Join us for a series of programs with one of the Tampa Bay Areas leading social and legal patriachs, Atty. Delano S. Stewart, affecionately known to many of the young professionals that he has mentored to great achievement and success, as "Daddy D."
