After growing up with years of abuse, she was stricken by Lyme disease in 2013. It is believed that Lyme lead to being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, and her childhood abuse led to several mental disorders. Amid all of this, she had to face the fact that she had a severe pornography addiction that was disrupting her life in such unhealthy ways. So she learned how to fight back.

Peyton is continuing to pursue her love of music and books. She wrote her first book, Lyme & Not the Fruit, in 2016, and is currently working on her debut Christian science fiction novel!
