In 2016, Adam was stabbed in the throat, arm & chest, while at a movie theater. The chef's knife went halfway through his throat, deep into his arm (nearly out the other side) and punctured his lung. He thought he was going to die - but woke up seven days later from a coma. The worst of the physical pain was being carried out of the theater that night, but the biggest struggle was yet to come. Adam was living off tubes. If someone had unplugged them, they literally would have unplugged his life.
