Every February, Black History Month, the U.S. honors the contributions and sacrifices of African Americans who have helped shaped our nation's history. This year's theme, black health and wellness, pays homage to medical scholars and healthcare providers.

BrainStorm host, Meryl Comer, and guest, Dr. Jonathan Jackson, a cognitive neuroscientist on the faculty at Harvard Medical School with a specialty in the early detection of Alzheimer's, discuss the barriers to clinical research for people and communities of color. In addition, Alzheimer’s and related dementias carry their own stigma in the general population, which becomes even more complex in communities of color. Hear their timely conversation.
