Today is Quinquagesima, the Sunday before Lent. Following our Lord, we turn our face towards Jerusalem as we begin our final preparations for our Lenten pilgrimage, and we do so considering the many ways our lectionary has been preparing us to understand what we are seeking in Lent. Psalm 26, Wisdom 7:7-12, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, Luke 18:31
