As Eastertide draws to a close, our readings shift towards Christ's ascent back to heaven and looking towards the coming of the Holy Ghost at Pentecost. Each of these events are connected to Easter and the event of the Resurrection. We find that Easter and the Resurrection life continues in the ministry of the Church by the power of the Holy Ghost.
