Always With Christ, The 19th Sunday After Trinity

Today, we are brought to the 19th Sunday after Trinity, in which we are instructed in the way of transformation after the likeness of our Lord. We are brought to our Lord's healing of the paralytic in our gospel, which paralysis powerful demonstrates the numbing effect of sin upon the human soul, but we hear the voice of Christ this morning telling us to rise and walk in newness of life. Matthew 9:1-8, Ephesians 4:17-32.
