This week, Mail Online reported that Aston Villa were continuing to monitor Athletic Bilbao attacker Nico Williams. The report said Villa would have to pay a £50 million release clause.

It follows a January transfer window where Villa allegedly failed in a £45 million bid for the 20 year-old Spanish international.
