The addition of piano, organ, and synths gave a life force to some of the greatest rock music ever made. Of course when people think of rock, they naturally think of the electric guitar player bringing the thunder or the frontman with the flowing locks looking larger than life on stage, but don't you dare sleep on keyboard instruments as a vital cog in what makes rock music so friggin' awesome. The players highlighted in this week's list are among the most gifted and studious musicians to hit the rock stage. These brainiacs are certified wizards of music, and this week's guest fits the mold in the same way. Our old pal Brad Watson is a bit of a keyboard-playing wizard himself, and we were delighted to have him back in GoodList Studios for TOP TEN ROCK KEYBOARD PLAYERS. Here's hoping this episode will get rock keyboards and the amazing folks that play them some much needed love.
