Fatal Beauty (1987) w/ Tirumari Jothi

This week we're joined by Bay Area actor & comedian Tirumari Jothi who helps us watch Tom Holland's 1987 police comedy(?) Fatal Beauty starring Whoopie Goldberg and Sam Elliott. Whoopie plays Rita Rizzoli, a narc who uncovers a batch of miscut cocaine and uses it as an excused to abuse her position as a police officer. Along the way she meets Sam Elliott's Mike Marshak who is a private security guard tasked with watching over Rizzoli but soon falls in love with her.

We'll talk about the fallout of Beverly Hills Cop, Whoopie Goldberg's unlikely career, and how an excellent cast can save an otherwise awful movie.
