Did you know that there are close to 10 million cases of dementia worldwide? That is one case of dementia every 3 seconds. Suffice it to say, it’s no longer just a challenge specific to a country but it has become a worldwide phenomenon.

Today we have Mary Sue Wilkinson, an educator and a professional musician. She is the author of “Songs You Know By Heart: A Simple Guide For Using Music In Dementia Care.” Mary Sue is also a public speaker and trainer. She leads hundreds of music sessions each year for seniors and has recorded two sing-along CDs.
