Last week a report from Northern India revealed that out of 216 births in a specific district, none were girls. Clearly, though sex-selective abortion is illegal there, it is still common. There’s a global war on women taking place and it’s not just in India. China alone is responsible for over 400 million girls missing from the planet (more girls were not allowed to be born in China over the last 50 years than there are people in the United States!). How different our world would be if these baby girls had been allowed to live. On this episode we take a look at the deadliest war of the past century—the war on women.
