All the Pouches: An Image Comics Podcast is one fan’s exploration of the early days of Image Comics.

In this nineteenth episode, I discuss Splitting Image 2, Homage Studios Swimsuit Special, and Youngblood: Strikefile 1.

The parodied history of Image Comics returns in the second issue of Splitting Image as the artists realize that ideas and pinups won’t suffice. They need to actually make stories and publish them! Then Lily Wilson once again joins the show as the kid gloves are removed and heckling of swimsuit pinups commences in full earnest! And two Youngblood stories commence as Image’s first super-hero team gets a spinoff title!
