All the Pouches: An Image Comics Podcast is one fan’s exploration of the early days of Image Comics.

In this fifteenth episode, I discuss The Savage Dragon vs Savage Megaton Man, The Maxx 1, and Splitting Image 1.

The Savage Dragon must content with invading heroes from another comics creator’s universe as Megaton Man pays a visit, with thanks to the pencils of Don Simpson. Then former podcaster from Avengers Inspirations, Lily Wilson, comes on the show to assist with a look at the Maxx, a man in a purple suit who must save social worker Julie Winters from the psychosexual machinations of Mr. Gone. And then it’s parody time as the Image founders poke fun at themselves and the story of their split from Marvel is told in ridiculous fashion in Splitting Image!
