Mercy Shibemba is an award-winning activist, and advocate for young people living with HIV. Mercy has always been driven, drawing up a teaching career plan at the age of 8. However, after learning of her HIV status and how she can make a change in young people’s lives with her experience, Mercy’s career as an activist has taken shape and at 22 is already recognised as an important voice in this area.
