We are living in a time of heightened social unrest and unpredictable behavior. As we witness shocking events going on all over the world, and here in our own communities, we are slowly picking up the residue of anxiety, fear, powerlessness and hopelessness. Even when the news seems overwhelming, we do not have to succumb to these forces. There are two things that we can do today, and everyday, to cleanse our body and our mind of these built up emotions in order to fortify our resilience: Rest and Relax. When our bodies and minds are calm and clear, we will be able to more easily navigate the bumpy roller coaster ride ahead.
