In addition to what fruits get sweeter and sweeter year after year, our consumption of fruits has increased drastically. 


Fruits are supposed to be seasonal as our ancestors had it. 


Our ancestors did not have easy access to fruits all year long, right? 


So, just imagine how much our consumption is bigger nowadays. 


And I don’t want to even talk about the juices, that’s just terrible. 


They get a fruit, then they kill almost all of the minerals and vitamins that It has by pasteurizing them. Heat also kills a lot of the enzymes By using high temperatures and eventually we left with a high Fructose drink with tons of carbs. 


That’s why most of the fruits are supposed to be avoided on a low carb diet completely especially if your goal is to lose weight. 


When it comes to fruits we have to look at a couple of things 


We have a GI 


We have a GL 


How many carbs in that fruit? 


How much sugar? 


How much fiber and how dense it is?
