I sat down with political philosopher Dan Halliday, lecturer at the The University of Melbourne, and spoke about Capitalism. We begin by defining Capitalism, then discuss its relationship to feudalism and socialism, and interrogate capitalism through a number of different lenses. We spoke about various policies which have traditionally been understood as 'capitalist' or 'neoliberal', and how they are in fact more closely aligned with other economic frameworks.
