In this episode Rue and Mica chat with mystic and healthcare practitioner Otis Bell on the queerness of astrology. We discuss how astrology's many layers -- including planets, elements, modes, and zodiac signs -- hold a rich vocabulary of archetypal meanings which we can use to map our individual polyvalent gender experiences.

The queerness of astrology shows us that gender is no binary; it's not even a spectrum between points A and B. Instead, it is a circle with an infinite number of points along its circumference, divided into twelve sky chunks we call the zodiac. Each of the zodiac signs represents a point in time between the solstices and the equinoxes, characterized by an ever-shifting relationship between light and dark.

Otis shares his work on queering the wheel, outlining the twelve queer genders of the zodiac. Which sign's gender is a lumbersexual? A frumpy-elf-mori-boi? A sassy-princess-artist-fruitcake-teacher-sissy-faggot? Tune in to find out!
