Episode 73 - Xinjiang, China (w/ Sam Bowden)

This week Aria tells Mickey and comedian Sam Bowden about the plight of the Uyghur people who are being held in internment camps in Xinjiang, China. We go back in time to when humans first inhabited the region and look at the border wars and struggles of the ancient people who lived in East Turkestan right up until the region was claimed by China and renamed Xinjiang.

Then we find out exactly what the deal with these camps is, how much has been spent on them and what's happening to the people inside. We also find out about the flourishing economy of the petrochemical industry in the area. This episode probably won't be available in China....
