Today's guest is Josh Lospinoso, Chief Executive Officer at Shift5 in Arlington, Virginia. Founded in 2018, Shift5 protects the operational technology (OT) that underpins our modern connected world from cyber attack. Today's planes, trains and tanks to name just a few rely on complex internal data networks that are susceptible to cyber-attack. Shift5 provides cybersecurity products to prevent, detect and alert against hacks on these internal data bus networks.

By mitigating the entire attack life cycle against an OT system, Shift5 provides a unified security solution that enables system operators, maintainers, managers, and incident responders. They go one step further by providing enriched system data for operations analysts searching for cost savings, or revenue opportunities. Recently, Shift5 was awarded a one year, $2.6 million OTA by the Army’s Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) to deliver a prototype vehicle security system for a critical ground vehicle platform.
