Founded in 2018, CellmatiQ develops an artificial intelligence platform for the automatic detection of relevant structures in medical images (e.g. dental X-rays) to support healthcare professionals in their diagnostics. The technology is equally applicable to industrial problems, like automatic analysis of structural features or anomalies of machine parts from images.


Cephalometric x-ray images are the diagnostic backbone of today’s dental practice; ranging from detection of caries or periodontal diseases via root canal treatments and prosthodontics to maxillofacial oncology. Their first product DentaliQ automates the identification of relevant diagnostic points in x-rays and reduces the analysis time from circa 15 minutes to mere seconds - thereby allowing dentists to focus more on their diagnostics and treatment plans.
