Ross Crombie Lives in Falkirk Scotland he is a Grangemouth Tri Club member and head adult coach he is also Carnegie Harrier run club member and aWest Lothian bike club member

Ross got into running when his first child was born, only swam at school very poorly. Never done much biking at all, only occasional cycling with  friends

He Started  his  first Duathlon in 2011 he says it  was a disaster but he loved it

Ross first Triathlon at 'East Fife' 2012 and then his  first 70.3 at 'Wimbleball Exmoor' 2013 This was followed by IM at Bolton 2014

Ross repeated Bolton IM 2015 then Staffordshire 70.3, Wales IM 2016

Ross then  got a coach, and this made a huge different to his structure and training as well as doing a number of other races Ross then went even longer completing the Deca UK 2017   Double IM 1 day after another at Dorney Lake took around 30 hours which he won.

other races  Ross has completed include Glasgow to Endinburgh 55mile Ultra run, Barcelona IM 2018 (232nd) Celtman Extreme Triathlon 2018 'White T-shirt' edburgh 38mile Ultra runFalkirk 8 hour Ultra run

He used his Barcelona IM 2019   to enter Challenge Almere GB team Long distance triathlon and it qualified 118%

-Aberfeldy Middle Dist Triathlon 2021 5hrs 11min (12th) **Used this time to enter Alsdorf GB Middle distance Duathlon, and it qualified 120%**

At the end of 2021 Ross  moved to a new coach in the same company and its helped even more.
He  was just browsing around the British Tri website one day and thought id look at qualifying rules. I always thought it just had to be specific races to get into to the GB team.

Then as i looked at the longer distances which he i prefers and realised  that he could enter times from long distance events.

Ross is  targeting a top 10 finish for Alsdorf now and trying to make sure he is in top 3 brits to get an automatic qualifying spot for next year.
