Inside Look at the County Fair: Winnebago County

It's an understatement if we say these guys have been busy this Summer. They're showing basically everything they can this year. Everything from goats, to horses, even guinea pigs.

Theresa's showing guinea pigs this year and not gonna lie, they're pretty cute. Look at it's face! One cool thing for Theresa is that this year she's bringing horses to the fair for the first time! She talked about what the hardest part of training them is, along with what the judges are looking for in a horse.

She was telling us that she just got these guys, Dallas and Peanut, about a year ago and started training right away. That's one thing people don't always realize. Kids that show at the fair are working MONTHS ahead of time to get these animals ready for show day. It takes a lot of hard work and a lot of time to make the fair what it is. But she's not the only one that's been hard at work.

So Tracy's also been keeping busy getting ready for the fair with her rabbits. Hulk, Tramp, Lady, and Biebs, they're all headed out to the fair with the rest of the crew!

As for their brother Trevor, he's bringing this little guy, Diesel. Trevor made sure to let us know that next year he's bringing pigs to the fair. Not sure how his parents feel about that one, but we say go for it!
