The 2020 MLS season certainly didn't start the way Vancouver Whitecaps wanted. A 3-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City, an insipid performance, and a lot of work still to be done. If you're thinking wait a minute, this isn't 2019, let's hope you're right.

We pick over the bones of that opening day loss and try and see what few positives you can take from it. Plus we hear from both head coaches, Vancouver's Marc Dos Santos and KC's Peter Vermes.

We also bring you three interviews this episode. We hear from Whitecaps CEO Mark Pannes on the subject of ticket sales and chat about some of the off-pitch changes this season. We also chat with Whitecaps winger David Milinkovic about his move to MLS, his desire to re-start his career, and his time at Heart and Hull.

Our MLS Week in Review also looks at the MLS teams in CCL action this past week and catch up with Sporting Kansas City's Scottish forward Johnny Russell to look ahead to the season and find out what his favourite jam is.

All this plus Canadian Premier League chat, as we look at the new home kits that were revealed and transfer talk, Football Violence Awareness Month returns in Wavelength, and Scottish band Peat & Diesel continue their residency as March's artists of the month.
