Blair Westerlund joins the podcast! Blair has survived the highest of pressures as a D1 athlete, but didn't get to leave the court completely on her own terms. After tearing her ACL and undergoing multiple surgeries, the University of Texas Volleyball player had a choice to make: risk it all for the teammates she'd die for or walk away with her head up for the sake of her own mental health. Through decades of dealing with paralyzing anxiety and panic attacks, Blair has learned to love the person she is today because of what she's been through. Today she is a mental health advocate and blogger setting an example for the next generation of athletes under pressure. Blair, Bridget, and Lauren break down the mental health stigma in college sports, dealing with the pressures of social media, and saying yes to medication and therapy.
