We had truckloads of #NewMusic in our playlist this week! An eclectic mix of original, intelligent, melodic, grown-up songs - #electronic, #rnb, #jazz, #blues and #acoustic. And mostly from artists who you have not heard of - yet! Think 'next series of Jools' - that's the kind of artists that we play.

Amongst tonight's selections, there was #NewMusic from GDRN + Ra:tio + @Reynir Snaer Magnússon, A Certain Ratio, Madame Gandhi, Huntly, Fatoumata Diawara + Laolu, Mnqobi Yazo, :PAPERCUTZ, Bel + Mudd, Vagabon, Celeste, David Hacohen Music, Boukou Groove, Josienne Clarke, Michael Walsh (+ Ríoghnach Connolly + Bryony Griffith and Will Hampson + Liz Hanks + Kepa Junkera), Mega Bog, Hand Habits, Arthur Moon and Corinne Bailey Rae.

Our Luvva Cover came from a 1972 Aretha Franklin gospel concert which was filmed and recorded at the time by Warner Brothers but has only been released this year. The film is called 'Amazing Grace' - it is MORE than amazing and we are featuring a cover of a Marvin Gaye song which Aretha sang during this concert. It's a stunning vocal performance.

Switch Dunmow's Record of the Week was 'Want To Be Home' by Sam Northwood. 50% of the gross profits are going to two homeless charities - DePaul International and Centrepoint.
