After studying Architecture at Nottingham University, Tom Worley Joined the Navy shortly before the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre in 2001, whereupon his idea of travelling the world in a genteel manner was rudely awakened in HMS Cumberland with a chemical alarm prior to the second Gulf War.

After considerable time learning to Dive as a Mine Clearance Diver, more time serving in the Arabian Gulf followed; clearing mine danger areas and ensuring gas and oil flowed to the UK.

These days Tom runs his own financial planning business, backed by St James’s Place, and retains his links to the military as a Royal Naval Reservist.
