It is hard to believe that Danny, Blake, and Nathaniel have never done an episode strictly about sci-fi; especially, since they have done two about sci-fi horror and multiple episodes that touch on UFOs. The three correct that wrong with a talk about sci-fi. They also review a science fiction movie from 2018, Prospect.
The episodes also includes an interview with Frank Stallone.
The show starts with talk about YouTube's decision to release many of the original Universal monster movies free on their platform. Unsurprisingly, Blake is excited. The guys also talk about Netflix's decision to release their entire slate for 2021.
The three then talk about Prospect. The 2018 sci-fi movie stars Pedro Pascal. The guys talk about style vs substance, old technology, and technobabble.
This week's show includes an interview with Frank Stallone. Frank is the subject of an upcoming documentary called Stallone: Frank, That Is. He talks about his greatest accomplishments, 2020, and his brother.
The show ends with a talk about sci-fi movies. The guys debate whether the genre has stopped coming up with new ideas, talk about their favorites, and reminisce on what got them into the genre.
