Self-care means taking care of yourself so that you can be healthy, you can be well, you can do your job, you can help and care for others, and you can do all the things you need to and want to accomplish in a day.

We think of it as a once in a while treat.  But based on these definitions, it makes sense to focus on self-care daily and perhaps several times each day.  So why not infuse self-care into something we already do several times a day, something like eating.  As the definitions suggest we are to treat ourselves well so we can indeed do all the things we need to do in an efficient way.
