Introduction

Our world has been shaken and changed in the past year. We have witnessed a global pandemic, political upheavals, racial divides, gender identity, and the daily onslaught of social media with Covid statistics, conspiracy theories, and untold suffering. We have been locked down physically, emotionally, and spiritually and even our churches have been unable to meet in person. Many people have struggled in both the practical and spiritual realm and I hope to encourage and inspire you for the days ahead.

In this series of interviews, I have connected with respected leaders outside of our Commission family and asked them to reflect on their journeys through these difficult times and to talk about how we can look ahead to the future with faith and hope. We will examine the challenges of the online platforms, seek to identify key battlegrounds of faith, and be inspired by each person to believe in God for a harvest of souls.
