Today Coach Blu speaks to Sam McDowell, a Major League Baseball starting pitcher from 1961 to 1975, most notably for the Cleveland Indians.

Following his "retirement", McDowell's drinking increased to the point where it cost him his marriage. His wife left him, taking their two children with her, leaving him desolate and broke. Eventually, McDowell checked himself into Rehab, and after repaying his debts, he enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned associate degrees in sports psychology and addiction. McDowell also works as a consultant with the Baseball Assistance Team (BAT) and the Major League Players Alumni Association (MLBPAA). You don't want to miss this one.
