Welcome to Episode 11 of Season 2 of Adapted with Anna and Sam! In this episode, a content warning must be shared. Anna and Sam tackle The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas, and its 2018 adaptation directed by George Tillman Jr, a story about a young black woman who witnesses her friend's murder by a white police officer, and the devastating aftermath of that event.
