Benghazi is the second-largest city, which is located in eastern Libya. Libya, officially the State of Libya is a country in the Maghreb region in north Africa. Libya is the fourth largest country in Africa, and is the 16th largest country in the world.
About 97% of the population in Libya are Muslims, most of whom belong to the Sunni branch. Small numbers of Ibadi Muslims and Ahmadis also live in the country. (www.wikipedia.org)
