Give It A Shot - Mother Road Brewing Spring Lager

There are times in life when you make unexpected discoveries. Sometimes those discoveries are actual things, sometimes they are personal revelations. In the case of the beverage we are going to try tonight, it was both. On a recent trip to Northern Arizona, Keith found himself having a flight of beers at a local brewery. Technically, he wasn’t alone as he was surrounded by several others enjoying an adult beverage, but since he did not go there with anyone, he felt like he was there by himself. That was discovery number 1; to realize that he had sat down at a bar by himself and ordered a beer, which is something he hadn’t done before. Discovery number two was one of the beers in his flight. A beer he felt was interesting enough to purchase a small growler of and bring home. That beer is the Mother Road spring lager and it is what we will be trying on this episode. As our tastes tend to lean more toward ales, we are always on the lookout for a lager that we could enjoy. Unfortunately, this lager is only available seasonally and at the brewery, but if you find yourself in Flagstaff Arizona at the right time, you could be in luck. What did we think? What do you think?
