When more than 6,000 baseball coaches converge in one location, great things happen! Four days of baseball heaven in downtown Indianapolis proved to be the world's largest gathering of baseball coaches and the most convention-goers in the 74-year history of the American Baseball Coaches Association. Highlighted by so many terrific presentations in our clinics plus our Expo Theater and Youth Coaches Session, coaches walking the floor of the world's largest baseball trade show with 300+ exhibitors, Hot Stove discussions, networking opportunities at every turn – we set up shop to capture the energy in the air. Connecting with a number of former podcast guests and even some future guests allowed us to grab ahold of the positive spirit, find out why the annual ABCA Convention is truly a "can't-miss event" for so many and how the relationships inside this game are accentuated when our coaches gather together. We welcome Tim Corbin from Vanderbilt, Jake Boss from Michigan State, the legendary Augie Garrido, Phill Shallenberger from Cairn University, Clay Cox from Paris Junior College, Tyler Gillum from South Mountain Community College, Butch Thompson from Auburn and Alan Jaeger from Jaeger Sports on this episode.
