This week's ABCA Podcast features University of Utah associate head coach Gary Henderson. Henderson has a long and successful track record in coaching, starting at the high school level and from there moving on to San Diego State, Cal State Fullerton, Riverside Community College, Chapman, Pepperdine, Florida, Oregon State, Kentucky, Mississippi State and now Utah. If you were going to map out coaches to learn from it would be guys like Jim Dietz, Dennis Rogers, Larry Cochell, Mike Weathers, Andy Lopez, John Cohen and Bill Kinneberg. Henderson has had success at every stop along the way as an assistant and head coach. He was named the Collegiate Baseball National Assistant Coach of the Year in 1996, the Southeastern Conference Coach of the year in 2012 and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Coach of the Year in 2018. He is one of the brightest pitching minds we have in the game.
