Gillman from the Air Force Academy and Todd Guilliams from the University of Kentucky, leaders of two of the most prolific offenses in college baseball a year ago. Gillman led a Falcons offense that led all Div. I programs in six different offensive categories including team batting average, doubles and slugging percentage. Guilliams helped the Wildcats go from worst-to-first in his first year, guiding UK to the top spot in 10 offensive categories in the Southeastern Conference. This episode is packed with verbiage from inside the batting cages, the batting practice groups and even the inner details of the development plans that each coach has for their hitters. We unpack both Gillman and Guilliams's philosophies on scoring runs, how they implement these plans over the course of a year with their guys plus the in-game adjustments they are making to keep their players focused and moving towards their goals.
