How To Manage Your Family Job And Voice Over Business
There can be no denying that managing your family, job, and voice-over business is a challenging feat.
I remember when I first started in voice-over. I worked from 6 am to 6 pm and had to pick up the kids in the evenings from after school care.
Then I would get home in time to meet my wife pulling in the driveway from her job. After making dinner with her and hanging out with the kids for a bit, we would do their baths and put them bed. After that, I would spend an hour with my wife and then tuck her into bed.
At about 10 pm was when I started working on my voice-over business. After working my job all day, spending a little time with my family, my voice-over business got 4 - 5 hours of me every night, until 2 am or 3 am.
Managing it all was a challenge, and in this episode, I talk about the good times and the bad times.
You get a glimpse of how it was for me until I came out the other end.
