iWMP Presents: READY, SET, BAKE! - Cake Week C8-E1

Last year we covered "The Great British Bake Off" on Netflix and we had so much fun doing it. This weekend, we learned that they are back with a very special 2020 pandemic season aka "collection," which Miguel loves to call it because its fancy and British and we're lucky we get to cover it!  

On this episode we did our bakers draft and selected two contestants that we absolutely love. Each of us will be reporting on them each week from now on. We also covered:

For the signature challenge, the bakers created an intricate Battenberg cake. 

For the technical challenge set by Paul, the bakers baked six miniature pineapple upside-down cakes. 

For the showstopper challenge, the bakers created a 3-D cake bust depicting their personal celebrity hero.
