Zoë directs the UK performing arts company Metis Project, making participatory performances exploring contemporary political subjects. We chose this play because of its hopeful vision for the future, and the ability it gave us to craft a 'great turnaround' narrative specifically for Aotearoa.

Nathan is from the UK and is currently based in Berlin. He was a member of the Royal Court Invitation Writers’ Supergroup 2018-19 and in 2020 his play Super High Resolution was shortlisted for the Verity Bargate Award. 'Us in the Past' is an official Climate Change Theatre Action 2021 selection, presented here with Nathan's permission.
