What happens when the one you married grows into their true self? Are you supposed to adapt? Are you supposed to stop them from changing? Love, growth, and marriage all coincide but are very fickle things together. Sometimes you must ask yourself are you in love with the person or the idea of them? All that to ask what leads beautiful marriage into a nightmarish divorce? Love does make you blind, and you can ignore those red flags that tell you to run away. Maybe it’ll get better, maybe it won’t always be this bad. I want to explore this divorce from a 24-year old’s perspective. You’re never too wrong to experience anything right? Although, the biggest lesson that was learned from all of this, if you want to keep your girl just C.H.E.A.T.
