Discussion!

But don’t the Broncos need a quarterback? In our opinion, they sure do. But GM John Elway has a terrible track record of drafting first round QBs. Maybe he’s learned his lesson and will try to rebuild a Super Bowl caliber defense. Chubb is a great starting piece for that rebuild.

We really struggled with this pick because the Colts need help at so many positions! Quarterback was one option we ALMOST went with; Andrew Luck still hasn’t thrown a football and the Colts could be looking to pull the plug. BUT it’s not time yet! Instead, the Colts could take the best offensive lineman in the draft and could start actually trying to protect their franchise QB.

Is he too smart? Do people hate him because he’s a millennial? Does he care enough to play football? We don’t care. The Dolphins need something to infuse some life into this team. Nothing does a better job of that than drafting a QB in the first round. HC Adam Gase buys himself a little more time and who knows, maybe this Rosen kid will actually be able to play?

The Bills are going to draft a quarterback this draft. They cannot go into the season with Nathan Peterman as their starting QB. The Bills are the most likely team to draft up into the top 5 to get their quarterback. BUT if they stay where they are, the Bills need to take the best player available, aka Derwin James.

One of our several policies at 4TR Sports is never take a wide receiver in the first round. Recent draft history shows that its damn near impossible to get the WR position right. Unless it’s a “sure thing,” we prefer other positions. However, the Titans need to figure things out with their wide receiver group. Ridley has tremendous talent and might be “the guy” the Titans have been looking for.
