Luke Gaddis was specialist at Stony Brook University from 2005-2008, tying the school’s FG record as a true freshman. Gaddis sits down with Dan Lundy to share his story, from beginning his HS career on a soccer pitch to becoming one of the most decorated specialist coaches in northeastern United States.

Gaddis shares his philosophy in adding pressure to a training environment and how his perception of specialists, and special teams, changed after making the transition from player to coach.

Kicking off a holder’s hand in front of thousands of fans and adverse conditions to win or lose a game isn't for everyone. Lundy and Gaddis share a few essential traits specialists must possess when transitioning to major college football.
