Wait, no, it is the beginning of the end, but the actual end isn’t until the end.  Then it kinda goes back to the beginning.  Well, at least we know it will take us to the future. . .  2013 in fact.  Wait a minute. . . ummm.

Let’s start over, So 3rd Degree Byrne continues the coverage of Days of Future Past by covering the first issue of the story in X-Men 141.  All the gang is here: Tim Elliott, Brian Hughes, Kirk Greenfield, David Thompson and John Hijjatt.

The book came out 40 years ago and so we look back on those days when we walked to our favorite convenience or drugstore to get our comics off the spinner rack, or in the case of some of us rich kids, we got it in the mail by subscription (I mean you, John!).

How did you experience it?  It was a page turner and a paradigm shift all in one.

We go deep from cover to cover, moment to moment and we try to not miss a thing.  Brian spotted something he had never seen before in forty years of reading this story.  Did you see it?
